Young Fermanagh Naturalist ‘steps-up’ for birds of prey

The big news is that the wonderful Dara McAnulty (Young Fermanagh Naturalist) and his mum Roisín have completed a 45km ‘Ramble for Raptors’, hiking the Cuilcagh Way in Co. Fermanagh in January in incredibly tough conditions, and they have raised £6050.50 for the Hawk-Eyes project!!!

This is absolutely incredible and the money will go to great use over the next few years to help find out more about the movement and lives of birds of prey and tackle wildlife crime through purchasing additional GPS tags. Thank you so much to Dara who continues to raise awareness of birds of prey and the threats and pressures they face through his award-winning blog and on twitter (@naturalistdara). And a huge thank you to everyone who donated to Dara’s quest and supported him and Roisín along the way!

Dara has kindly offered to write a few guest blogs for us so keep an eye out for these in the Raptor-Track blogs.
